Angela joined Mobil Research & Development Corporation in early 1989, and worked on identifying compositional factors impacting base stock and lubricant product performance. A few years later, she progressed to industrial lubricants product development, where she was instrumental in the development of product technology, intellectual property, and testing capability across of range of industrial applications, interacting with equipment builders world-wide, and contributing significantly to the Mobil Industrial Lubricants technologies and the business. She’s held various positions in Industrial Lubricant Product Development, including Team Lead, Section Manager and Technology Program Lead. Angela has been instrumental in establishing new intellectual property for lubricants, and in 2016, received the Thomas A. Edison patent award for a Mobil SHC invention. She has also received multiple Lubricants Technology Excellence Awards and an ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Technical Achievement Award. Currently Angela is the Technology Chief for the Lubricants Technology discovery portfolio.
