Bernice Rivera is a Project Controls Manager for the Gas System Moderation Program within PSE&G’s Gas Operation. Mrs. Rivera is responsible for supporting the construction and project management groups by managing costs, monitoring work progress and prioritizing programs. She manages approximately $700M annually in capital projects supporting the above programs throughout Gas Operations, and enjoys setting priorities to ensure the business objectives are being attained. Mrs. Rivera began her career at PSEG in 1989 and has held various positions within the company, inclusive of Project Manager of Electric Transmission upgrades, District Manager of Gas Distribution and Appliance Service, Supervising Engineer Northern Gas Operations, etc. Mrs. Rivera has a Bachelor’s degree and a Master Business Administration from St Peter’s College. She recently attended the AGA Next Level Leadership Women’s Program in which she was able to network with peers and utility executives from across the country. She also volunteered at the Junior Achievement Career Day in April and led STEM activities with students and shared her career path and experience with them. Bernice loves to spend time with her husband, Justin, and their son, Tyler, and traveling to the Caribbean for relaxation.
