Dee Blair Sales Director GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare North America
Dee Blair, graduated from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business where areas of concentration included both Marketing and Psychology. She has worked in the pharmaceutical and consumer products industries for over two decades. Dee has worked for GlaxoSmithKline's North America Consumer Healthcare division for twenty-two years and currently is responsible for GSK's Food and Dollar Channels in her Sales Director position. Dee is passionate about personal and commercial development and has co-sponsored GSK's Network of Executive Women (NEW) partnership since inception eight years ago. During this time, GSK's participation has grown from four to one hundred thirty members. Members have participated in more than one hundred professionally led learning and development sessions. Moreover, members have grown in their networking and leadership capabilities. GSK's NEW commercial development has been significant and generated a strong, sustainable source of year on year results.
In addition to Dee's professional accomplishments, she's been active in several philanthropic and volunteer organizations which supported the communities in which she and her family lived. Dee is proud to have led Junior League's Done in a Day initiative where five hundred volunteers provided four thousand service hours which benefitted more than eight agencies ranging from women's shelters to building an inner city playground.
Dee is honored by YWCA's Tribute to Women in Industry recognition and greatly appreciates the leaders who have mentored and enriched her throughout her career.
