As Insights Director for R&D, Josefina is the primary liaison between the scientific and business communities to ensure insights are identified and integrated throughout the product design process. She is also responsible for managing the Technology Insights Team globally. Josefina continue the development of CP Insights capability at R&D.
Before her current position Josefina was Home Care Insights Associate Director in the Latin America Division where she not only led the integration of insights to create successful new products and relaunch of the most important fragrances in CP portfolio, but also led the integration of local insights to guarantee winning on the ground in our Latam subsidiaries. Josefina also led the “Maricahi” experience, a deep immersion in the Mexican culture to guarantee CP’s continued growth in such an important country.
Josefina joined CP Venezuela in July 1999 as Senior Project Manager, Market Research. She was involved in all key Home Care projects. In 2001 Josefina completed a growth development assignment in GBD (Global Marketing) where she worked on Personal Care Products and on Shopper Insight. In 2002, she was the Country Consumer Insight Manager in CP Venezuela, where she was responsible for Consumer/Shopper Insights and Consumer Affairs for the subsidiary. In 2007 she moved to Mexico to support the Consumer Innovation Center with insights to develop new products, working for Personal and Home Care over different periods. Josefina is a founder member of the Colgate Women Network (CWN) in Mexico and also supports the CWN in China.
Prior to Colgate, Josefina worked for FCB (Foot Cone & Belding) in the Research Department, managing projects for important local and multinational companies.
