Lana Burrell Senior Director, Janssen Supply Chain Janssen Pharmaceutical
Currently Lana is a Janssen Supply Chain Leader responsible for lifecycle management for commercially marketed Immunology, Cardiovascular, & Metabolism, Pharmaceutical Products which includes: Supply Chain Management of Product Portfolio valued at over $16 Billion; Management of over 30 large and small molecule products; Supply Chain product strategy development, Cost Optimization and Quality & Compliance Risk Reduction. Resulting in $13 Million cost savings/cost avoidance & 34% SKU productivity improvement in 2016.
Lana joined Johnson & Johnson in 2002. Over the years, Lana has held several roles with increasing responsibility. Prior to her current role, Lana was Senior Director Product Quality, responsible for biological and small molecule new product development quality oversight. She also had quality oversight responsibilities for the commercial oncology and infectious disease therapeutic area. Prior to her role in Quality, Lana was a Chemistry, Manufacturing, & Controls (CMC Leader) and she also worked in Technical Operations responsible for the product transfer, scale-up and validation. Lana is also a Registered Pharmacist and Six Sigma Process Excellence Black Belt.
Lana received a Ph.D. in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University and a BS in Pharmacy. She has eight publications in peer-reviewed journals.
