Laura Saldana-Gonzalez Brand Manager, Sensodyne GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare
Laura is a passionate, strategic and multi-lingual Marketer with a solid financial background, an MBA degree from Duke University, and 12+ years of experience in Fortune 500 Consumer Goods and Pharma companies.
In her current role as Brand Manager for Sensodyne, the largest brand in the GSK Consumer Healthcare portfolio, Laura has dramatically progressed the brand’s digital connections strategy, including an extremely effective You Tube takeover in support of our new product launch. This activation, put together in less than 3 months, helped deliver consumer-centric content for the brand in addition to delivering 285 million media impressions, 2.8 million video views, 24,600 hours of content engagement, and a highly efficient media spend.
Laura is the co-lead of the GSK Women’s Leadership Initiative Chapter in NJ, overseeing and coordinating the Annual Operating Plan to increase external focus and bring inspiration to WLI members. Through her work with WLI, Laura has been instrumental in driving GSK engagement and involvement with 2 key community organizations: GrassROOTS Community Foundation and Dress For Success.
Laura joined GSK in 2013, pursuing her dream to become a Marketer, focusing on the innovation pipeline for Voltaren and later leading Benefiber Commercial Innovation. Prior to her Marketing career, Laura was Associate Director of Finance at Novartis Animal Health US, and before that she had Financial Management roles of increasing responsibility in Procter & Gamble Mexico.
Laura is a proud mom to Andre, a sweet and smart 2 year old, and a grateful 8-years-and-counting wife to Piero Ocampo.
