Environmental Team Lead Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery
Meghan is the Environmental Team Lead at the Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery. In this role, she leads a team of seven employees and is responsible for Air, Water, and Waste compliance for the entire refinery. Meghan combines her strong technical and leadership backgrounds to drive continuous improvement in environmental performance and identify enhancement opportunities. She serves as a liaison to regulatory agencies, interacting with USEPA, NJDEP, local environmental organizations, and the community. She develops long-term strategies for continuous improvement in Bayway’s environmental compliance. She also holds a leadership position in Bayway’s Emergency Response organization. Meghan graduated from Columbia University with a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering and holds a Bachelors Degree from Ramapo College in Environmental Science and Biology. She has held various positions in the HSE and Mechanical organizations at the Bayway Refinery, and transitioned into supervision in 2016. She represents Bayway on the New Jersey Business & Industry Association, NJ Petroleum Council, and the Chemistry Council of New Jersey. Meghan was recently appointed as the Chair of the CCNJ Environmental Committee. Outside of work, Meghan spends time with her husband and 2-year old twin boys. She enjoys traveling, hiking, and exercising.
