Dr. Min Chen Lead Statistician ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences, Inc.
Dr. Min Chen is currently a lead Statistician in ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences, Inc. (EMBSI) providing statistical analysis support to multiple scientific research programs across the organization. In this role, Min provides statistical expertise and support to a diverse range of scientific disciplines, including Epidemiology, Quality Assurance, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences, Exposure Sciences, and Engineering. Additionally, she provides statistical advice and support to lab optimization and a number of product-related initiatives.
Since joining EMBSI in 2008, Min has supported a diverse range of research and development initiatives that have resulted in success both within the company and with peers in her profession. Being a recognized expert in Statistics with 13 publications and numerous presentations at international/national professional conferences, Min has made significant contributions in asphalt, phthalates, and benzene research to ensuring accurate data interpretation for ExxonMobil product safety for humans, animals, and the environment. Min was lead Statistician in supporting six U.S. refineries to ensure the company was meeting new mandated fuels testing requirements from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Min has consistently delivered high quality work products and recognized as a trusted statistical analysis advisor both within and outside the Company. Min has won EMBSI Publication of the Year Award Gold Award (2009), Bronze Award (2011), Gold Award (2016), ExxonMobil Research and Engineering R&D Publication Award (2014-2016), and EMBSI Leadership Award (2016). Min is a member of American Statistical Association, and The International Biometric Society, East North American Region (ENAR).
