Peggy oversee's the front end operations of 35 Stores, including Front End Service, Scheduling, Scanning, Pricing, Introducing New Technology, and Customer Service. She maintains assigned budgets and partner with stores and District Management on all operational initiatives. She works closely with Retail Technology, the Operations Team, VP of Operations, District Directors, Store Managers, and Customer Service Managers. The Front End Supervisor and Point of Sale Specialist are direct reports. Additionally, Peggy is directly involved with SRS' fundraisers and Point of Sale Initiatives. Where she: broke several records this past year, including Veterans Campaign and Hunger Awareness/Fundraisers and led the successful rollout of a new comprehensive scheduling program to 35 stores. Peggy is a key member of the President's Strategy Task Force to develop "go forward" business strategy of the company presenting critical objectives and tactics to the Company's Executive Team and Management during the roll-out. She is a member of the Wakefern Self Checkout Task Force, respected member of subcommittee developing Corporate Training Programs for the Front End Operations, Senior Member of the SRS Woman's Leadership Group to increase diversity, opportunity acceptance within the company. Peggy is a 2018 Recipient of the Dave Figurelli, "Effort is Assumed, Impact is Expected" Award for outstanding work in support of local veterans. She served as a Board Member of the Hudson Valley Honor Flight for three years - HVHF is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which "Honors American Veterans" for all their sacrifices. They transport these heroes to Washington, DC to visit their memorials at no cost to them. Peggy served as a member of the flight crew traveling with the Veterans over a dozen times.
