Susan Disko Planning Analyst ExxonMobil Research & Engineering Company
Susan Disko is a Planning Analyst for ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company in Clinton. Most recently Susan was appointed an Assistant Director for ShowKids Invitational Theatre. Founded in 1987, this non-profit, diverse family organization fosters self-esteem through achievement focusing on children ages 7 through 18. For many years, she also volunteered for United Way.
Susan started with ExxonMobil in 1978 and has held positions in Engineering, Law, Facilities, Financial, Corporate Research, Procurement and Planning at several New Jersey locations and in Chalmette, Louisiana.
Currently, Susan is a subject matter expert, leading the coordination and preparation of a complicated and detailed half-billion dollar research bill, a major affiliate expense, that requires accuracy as a tax requirement. This "bill" is a primary financial interface between the operating businesses and the research and development organizations, and thus central to important differentiating technology aspects of the company. Susan also meticulously tracks recruiting activities, staffing movements and assignments to research programs. As a member of a Microsoft collaboration tool committee, she teaches individuals on its application and value in the workplace.
In 2017, Susan will be transitioning to a new role as a Project Business Analyst advancing her analytical skills to aid in the project's execution and within its planned scope, schedule and budget.
Susan lives in Hunterdon County with her husband, has been an active thespian for 30 years, enjoys her church, interior design, gardening, and is the proud parent of four daughters, all moving into the professional ranks helping others (human and animal).
