Ursula began her J&J career in Ortho Biologics as Validation Specialist, progressing to QA Manager, Biologics & Parenterals. She gained organizational knowledge moving into leadership positions in IT, Site Operations for Raritan Pharmaceutical & Biological Manufacturing, then global position in JSC Global Technical Operations, Strategy & Support.
Ursula’s current role is Director, Product Management (PM) at Janssen Pharmaceuticals. As Director, Neurosciences, Ursula leads end-to-end supply chain management for Neuroscience products in Janssen’s Established Product Portfolio. This includes developing and implementing global product strategy, including product launches, escalation/issue management, supply chain risk management (SCRM), and product delivery. When demand for the ADHD drug increased 45%, Ursula mobilized the team to increase production without investing additional network capacity; then immediately had the foresight to proactively implement Business Continuity packaging line—again with no capital investments. This was utilized immediately, protecting $524MM of US sales in the first year.
Ursula is currently Issue Management Leader for Hurricane Maria Recovery Team. The team is working towards building inventory levels for over 100 global markets for Pharma products packaged at the site or supplied to other J&J / external sites; as well as Consumer products supplied for McNeil Consumer. Her business results at J&J have been recognized via BRAVO, Standards of Leadership, and other company-wide awards.
In addition to J&J leadership, this cancer survivor also gives back to the community and industry through involvement/leadership: American Cancer Society Philadelphia Bike-A-Thon; International Thymic Malignancy Group Patient Advocate Member, contributing to ongoing research and education of this disease.
