Virginia (Ginny) Pecca is the Controls and Client Services Administrator for ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences, Inc. (EMBSI). In this role as the Computer Security Officer, she is a primary interface to Information Technology. Ginny ensures all control measures are in place and meet audit requirements. She also handles third party work ensuring proper execution of contracts, billing and end use data.
Ginny holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management from The College of Saint Elizabeth.
She began her career at Exxon Central Services in 1986 where she worked in General Accounting, and later Internal Audit.
Ginny then transferred to EMBSI’s financial division business support group to manage the Accounts Payable function. She next worked in Human Resources where she was responsible for recruiting, HR policies & benefits, and the administration of a broad range of HR systems.
Following the Exxon and Mobil merger Ginny served as Business Support Group Head, where she managed financial planning, Stewardship & reporting processes to meet requirements within the corporate plan.
Ginny also functions as the EMBSI Compliance Coordinator supporting Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH); a European Union regulation for chemical substances. Ginny is the Administrator for the substance inventory database which is the central repository for all ExxonMobil registration data.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ginny enjoys mentoring junior employees. She is active in volunteer organizations which support Veteran’s Advocacy and the United Way, and is currently the co-chair of “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day”.
