Yuliya Priporina-Gomez Distribution Manager-Electric Construction Underground Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG)
Yuliya Priporina-Gomez is a Distribution Manager-Electric Construction Underground for Southern Division-Electric Distribution. In her current position Yuliya leads a team which oversees construction, maintenance, inspection, and repair of Electric Distribution Underground facilities and the installation and maintenance of Street Lighting managed by Electric Operations. She is responsible for developing and directing the implementation of emergency plans to ensure system integrity with full focus on health and safety of the employees.
Yuliya joined PSE&G in 1999 as an electrical engineer, and has held various engineering and management positions in electric operations, including Relay Maintenance Supervisor, Supervising Engineer, and Principal Work Integration Manager. Throughout her career at PSE&G, Yuliya has assumed increasing levels of technical and managerial responsibility.
She has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (National Research University). She also holds a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Yuliya has been a mentor for several years as part of the Rutgers University Women in Engineering (WINGS) Program and also a Program Mentor for Charting Your Course. She has served on the Board of Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton.
She’s is an avid reader, a runner and enjoys traveling. She is a member of the Jersey Shore Running Club and has volunteered at Special Olympics New Jersey Track and Field Meets; assists in events to benefit local charities to include the Jersey Shore Dream Center and Big Brothers & Big Sisters in her spare time.
