Suzanne Brienza is the new Director of Meter Services for PSEG Long Island. Before moving into the utility world, Suzanne spent twelve successful years as a lawyer in private practice. Described by Suzanne as the best career move she never expected to make, she eventually left the full-time practice of law to Manage Back Office Collections (BOC) for National Grid. After managing BOC for five years, Suzanne was part of the team that tackled the transition of the electric utility from National Grid to PSEG Long Island. After a successful transition, Suzanne spent almost four years as Director of Revenue Operations for PSEG Long Island overseeing BOC, payment processing, customer offices, theft of service, internal controls and revenue reporting. In her new role as Director of Meter Services, Suzanne has landed the opportunity to inspire customers to increase their understanding of their energy needs and take control of their energy usage as she oversees the proposed Smart Meter Full Deployment Project.
At PSEG Long Island, Suzanne is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council and is on the steering committee for the LIA’s Women’s Collaborative. She also represents PSEG Long Island as a member of the Line of Business Ethics and Compliance Council. Suzanne is also on the Board of the Long Island Children’s Museum. Suzanne graduated from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where she received her J.D. and was a member of the Environmental Law Review.
