Emma is responsible for the Homecare Category supply strategy, which includes global sourcing and capacity management, Funding the Growth program, new product management and complexity reduction. She partners with Global Marketing and R&D to drive savings, harmonization and innovation projects.
Having spent most of her 20-year career at Colgate in Supply Chain/ Customer Service and Logistics, Emma has always been very customer focused taking into account the end to end supply chain when making decisions. She has consistently delivered savings, optimized sourcing, reduced complexity, as well as achieving customer service and inventory goals. Whilst in CS&L she was part of a team to implement a central supply planning organization and when in Europe Oral Care led multiple sourcing projects delivering savings and supported many new product introductions. In her current role, Emma led a team to implement modeling software to optimize capacity, delivered cost and investment across two strategic manufacturing sites. The tool has enabled faster more accurate analysis and the possibility to evaluate many scenarios’ leading to fact-based sourcing decisions. She developed new ways to analyze complexity and has worked with the cross functional team to evolve the mindset from regional specific product backbones to globally harmonized product backbones. As a result, Emma will reduce the number of product backbones by 30% by the end of 2018 which is enabling faster roll-out of backbone projects across the world. Comments are closed.
