Lisa started her career in the retail supermarket industry in 1993. Over the last 25 years she has held numerous positions ranging from Department Manager, Human Resources Manager and Assistant Manager. In 2000, Lisa was promoted to a Store Director at the age of 25 and she quickly became a role model and mentor for young women in the industry. As a Store Director Lisa was responsible for leading a team toward achieving positive sales, profitability and growth. During her tenure as a Store Director, Lisa had the privilege to open three different stores over a fifteen-year period, an achievement she takes great pride in.
In 2015 Lisa was promoted to Director of General Merchandise and Health & Beauty Care for ShopRite Supermarkets. As the Director of GM/HBC, Lisa has successfully created a team culture amongst the 35 stores she is responsible for, successfully focusing on the development of our younger department managers to build a bench for the future. In the role she has brought passion, excitement, a sales driven culture and clear communication to every aspect of the role which has resulted in positive sales and bottom line results. Lisa has participated in several leadership programs including FMI: Marketing and Management Workshop at WMU, the LDI- Leadership Development Program, the NGA Executive Leadership Development Program in 2016 and she is also a Menttium Alumnus, which is a cross-company mentoring program for high potential women.
