Currently Director of Asset Protection and Audit, I have been with Zallie-Somerset Shoprite Stores since 1973. I started as a part-time cashier while in high school. I worked my way through the company in store as a bookkeeper, Frontend manager and then closing manager. In 1985 I was promoted to the first on the road supervisor for our company. My position at that time was to oversee frontend and cash office operations. I additionally was given the scanning department to oversee. During this time I learned how to install PC'S, registers and learned how the network worked. Eventually I was given responsibility of the IT department, reviewing new store systems and installing . Also over the years, I was responsible for our liquor store and Pharmacy operations and had a small stint in HR. I have been married to my husband Mark for 47 years and we travel every chance we get. Most of my spare time is spent volunteering for the National Brain Tumor Society, where I chair their biggest national event Race for Hope Philadelphia. ​
